    The Business Finance Academy prepares students to understand the principles of the accounting
    cycle. Emphasis is placed on analyzing and recording business transactions, preparing and
    interpreting financial statements, and performing banking and payroll activities. They will learn
    techniques for solving business problems and making financial decisions. They will also develop
    skills related to banking and related services as they process customer transactions, maintain a
    cash drawer, process documents, and respond to customer requests to provide other customer
    services. Students will acquire capable skills in business organization and strategy, operating,
    capital resources, and performance measurement and management.
