G. W. Carver High School Uniforms for 2022-2023
The uniform guidelines of the school coincide with the MPS dress code but in a more detailed and school-specific form. The uniform colors for Carver High School are as follows:
Khaki bottoms only Pants/Shorts/Skorts/Skirts/Jumpers
TOPS
Collared Polo Style: Green, Gold, and White; Oxford: Green, Gold, and White
NOTE:
All skirts, skorts, jumpers, and shorts must reach the top of the knee. No rips or holes in any clothing.
OUTERWEAR/ACCESSORIES
(NO HOODIES) Sweatshirts (plain or sold by Carver)

Undershirts/Camisoles
Green, Gold, Grey, and White
SHOES
Closed toes, closed heels, boots with heels no more than one inch.
SPIRIT SHIRTS/SPIRIT DAYS/SPECIAL OCCASION will be determined by the principal and announced in advance.
No hats or overcoats may be worn during the school day. All non-uniform outerwear must be stored in the student's locker or book bag.
Lockers are $10.00. Parking decals are $20.00. These can be purchased on MYSCHOOLBUCKS.
Orientation
Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 6:00 pm in the Edward Woods Gymnasium on the campus of Carver High School. Parents and students are invited.
The History of G. W. Carver High School
Welcome to George Washington Carver High School, where we strive for excellence every day. Our goal is to instill a love of learning in every student as we help them build a foundation for success in college, career, and beyond. We are committed to meeting the needs of all our students with engaging and innovative instruction.
Congratulations to the Career & Technical Education students who participated in the virtual Tuskegee University Exert Competition 2021-22. The following FBLA members won 2nd place in the Entrepreneurship competition.

George Washington Carver Senior High School started a Speech and Debate program and competed in online tournaments across the country, competed in their first Mockingbird District State Tournament at Samford University, and are going to Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a great accomplishment for the team; their program is new and thriving.
