Bear Exploration Center for Mathematics, Science And Technology School

My name is Brandi Moody. I am the assistant principal here at Bear Exploration Center. I have been at Bear for the last 18 years. I also serve as the assistant principal at Forest Avenue Academic Magnet. I split my time between the two schools. I truly love what I do and I love working with the faculty, staff, students and parents here at Bear.

I am a Montgomery native and  MPS graduate. I hold degrees in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Auburn University at Montgomery. Prior to my position as assistant principal, I taught 5th grade. This is my 24th year with Montgomery Public Schools.

I have two wonderful children. Emma is an upcoming senior and Jackson will be entering the 4th grade. They are my entire world. I have been married to my husband Jon, a local attorney, for almost 20 years. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my children play sports and relaxing at the beach. I'm excited about the new school year and look forward to working with you.
