Hey Garrett Gators!

My name is Mrs. Rashondra Bryant and this is my 15th year in education and my 5th year at Garrett. I have previously taught Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade but this my first year on the Garrett 3rd Grade team! I graduated from Troy University with both a B.S and M.S in Elementary Education. I am looking forward to getting on "The Road to Success" with my new students this year!

My name is Laura Thompson and I am a mother, grandmother, and 3rd grade teacher. My
exciting and rewarding career as an educator began after graduating Auburn University in
Montgomery in 2000, and I have been a teacher at Garrett for 16 years. I am the proud mother
of my beautiful daughter, Katelyn, and I am blessed to be the grandmother of my precious
grandson, Noah. Being an educator is a true passion of mine and I have always felt as if my
students are like my own children. There are many reasons why I am passionate about
teaching. I want to make a difference in every single one of my students’ lives. I encourage,
motivate, and inspire them to accomplish greatness. I am so grateful to love my career and
have been able to and will continue to make an impact on many children throughout the years.

My name is Ms. Langford, and I am so excited about this new school year. I have taught at Garrett for 6 years, and I have been in 4th Grade all 6 of those years. I am now a part of the 3rd grade team, and I am looking forward to making this a great year!

My name is Regina Smith. I am a 3rd grade teacher at Garrett Elementary. This is my 16th year as an educator and 6th year at Garrett. I have taught multiple grade levels from grades 2nd to 5th grade.  This will be my fourth year teaching third grade at Garrett. I have earned a Bachelor's degree from Alabama State University and a Master's degree from Troy University. I have two beautiful children, Paislee and Pason, who I love dearly. I am thrilled and excited to start this year by teaching my 3rd grade students to be college and career ready.
